One thing about being a professional pet sitting company in Fort Collins and Loveland is getting to know all the great animal rescue organizations in Northern Colorado, and the amazing people that support them. Ann Jones and I had the opportunity to take time out from pet sitting to attend the Phantom 5K race, to support our pals at Animal House Rescue & Grooming, Denkai Animal Sanctuary and Larimer Humane Society. The event featured dozens and dozens of dogs in hilarious costumes and just as many laughs.
Not to miss out on the fun, Ann came dressed as a witch and I came dressed as a cat – together we made quite the pair! We enjoyed visiting with all the businesses who came out to support of our pals. Many of our regular pet sitting and dog walking clients got in the spirit as well, bringing their dogs and stopping by for a chat and a homemade dog biscuit. We also met lots of new friends as well and we’re looking forward to caring for them this holiday season!
We wanted to give a big shout out to Embassy Suites in Loveland for their classy digs! The ballroom was decked to the hilt in frightening decor and they even provided a “Bone Chilling Breakfast” for race participants.
If you haven’t done so already, please check out all the great work Animal House, Denkai and Larimer Humane are doing in our local community! We are so proud to be community partners of these great organizations and we’re already looking forward to next year’s race!
